Steele & Buck is a law firm founded by Attorneys Margaret L. Steele and Michelle A. Buck. Attorneys Steele and Buck, along with their full-time legal assistant, Susan Tucker, are experienced legal professionals, having previously worked together at Lenihan, Grady & Steele. Partner Margaret L. Steele is a Municipal Court Judge for the Town of Hopkinton and the Town of Charlestown. She is a former Hopkinton Town Solicitor, and has been practicing law since 1996, with admission to both the Rhode Island and Connecticut Bars. She represents clients in criminal matters, divorce, child custody, probate, guardianships, real estate transactions, and estate planning. Partner Michelle A. Buck, served as Town Solicitor for the Town of Westerly from 2010 through 2013, and as Town Manager for the Town of Westerly from 2013 until 2015. She also served as Town Solicitor for the Town of Hopkinton, along with Attorney Steele. Ms. Buck was admitted to the Bar in 2002 in Rhode Island and in 2003 in Connecticut. Her areas of practice include divorce, child custody, probate, wills, real estate, contract disputes, planning, zoning, landlord/tenant disputes, municipal law, guardianships, adoption, civil litigation, and corporate law.
